Mountain Top Seeds began in 2020 as the passion project of a legacy cultivator who grew up in Northern California, secretly watching his dad tend to guerilla grows. Howard’s boots-on-the-ground learning began at eighteen. Then he moved on to operating an outdoor high-grade commercial production in Island Mountain of southern Humboldt County. He managed 99-count ‘big plant’ gardens in Butte County. Howard progressed to large-scale legal mixed light flower production and large scale seed production. He also engaged in breeding work in the Emerald Triangle. Through these experiences, he developed a knack and love for seed breeding.
