Golden Train (Trainwreck x Golden Thai)

The goal of this cross was to add structural integrity and make it more grower friendly with higher yields.
From the original Arcata Trainwreck that was made into seed in the early 90’s, we selected a pheno exhibing bigger, larger robust flowers and more resistant to spider mites.
Golden Thai was acquired from a trip to Thailand. It was the standout for its potential to add more strength to the leggy Trainwreck. This Golden Thai pheno was selected for its unusal solid, shorter intermodal structure coupled with its ability to increase resin production from an already abundant producer. Some pheno’s of golden Thai exhibit levels of Varin at 1-3%.
Originally the Golden Train was primarily cultivated indoors with great success. Once we were able to bring this beast of a plant outdoors in the full SUN she finally revealed herself for the potential she had.
