Ice Cream Cake x “Bacio” Gelato 41 *FEMINIZED*
Ice Cream Cake, Skunky– there were two ICCs-the normal cakey smelling one and the one from Humboldt having more of a skunky and Runtz/Skittles aroma. They both grew exactly the same-kind of slow-and finished at the same height and timing. At finish the skunky one was just a tad darker purple and a tad harder and rounder. Another gassy Gelato cross. These offspring have not disappointed in any way-“purple gas” on a large share of the population with the color upon maturity or colder temps.
“Bacio” Gelato 41 Collection
This collection was a production run giving people what they want while giving thanks to those who have come before-breeding, selecting and releasing these cultivars to the world. There was zero selection criteria, this run, other than no bugs, powdery mildew, or other diseases and everything was a clone, most from the public domain, and used only for seeding purposes.
The donor, the “Bacio” Gelato 41, was selected because of its market desirabilities like purple color, skunky/gassy flavor profile, and density of buds.
The females used were selected because they were relevant on the California market and sugary appearance. Much more info can be found out with an internet search of each.
The entire garden was bug, mildew, and disease free.
